Beautiful Campaign

What an awesome few weeks it has been! God continues to make it clear that He wants to get the message of true beauty out and one avenue through which that is happening is the "You're BEAUTIFUL" bracelets.

A couple of weekends ago, David Busic, pastor of my home church, Bethany First Church, spoke on the topic of God's definition of true beauty vs. what the world has defined as beauty.  He did an incredible job and following the service had committed to give away 125 BEAUTIFUL bracelets.  We were overwhelmed when not only 125 had been given away but we had orders for 241 more!!! I am working right now to get all of those orders filled and mailed and praying over each one that God will use it to speak beauty into the one who wears it.

Thank you for joining us on this journey!!! Please email me with any questions, suggestions, or with a story about how your beautiful bracelet has impacted you or someone you know at beautifulcampaign@yahoo.com!

Madison's Beautiful Story

We received this story from Madison's Mom, Jan, and were so excited we wanted to share it with you:

Something happened today that was really cool, and I just wanted to share it with yall.  Madison has a friend that lives across the street. Lets say her name is Sarah. Madison would call her her 'best friend'. She is a believer, but has lots of doubts about her own worth and beauty. Her family has stopped coming to church lately, too. Madison has tried to encourage her off and on, but it hasn't seemed to help much. Lately, they have had different schedules and they haven't seen each other much. They're not talking right now (but not fighting, either). It's just an awkward time in their friendship, but it is really bothering, or should I say, hurting, Madison.

Anyway, Madison went over to one of her youth group leader's house today. She's a senior in hs. She listened and encouraged Madison. They wrote scriptures down and made a little booklet for Sarah. Beth, Madison's leader, saw Madison's true beauty bracelet. They talked about it, and when Madison got in the car, she said, "Well, I've decided to give this bracelet to Sarah!" My eyes were filled with tears and my heart was full of joy. She said, "Are you crying?" :) I told her that I loved her heart, and I know how much she cared for Sarah. And I hate to see her hurting like that b/c I know what that friendship means to her. I also told her that giving her bracelet away is the EXACT thing that yall would have wanted her to do...share that with someone who really needs it!!

Anyway, it was a very special moment and I just wanted to share that with you two!
Thanks for making such an impact in our lives.
love and hugs,
Jan
